I
think I knew I would become a Scuba diver the day my wife came home from work
and found me in the bottom of the pool with a Home Spa air pump
hooked to a hose that I was breathing from ! (Don’t try this at
home!)
But somehow I got sidetracked for a while racing Motocross. In fact, it
was one of my Motocross buddies (Kevin Wallin) that eventually got me into Scuba
Diving. He was getting certified and asked if my wife and I would be interested.
It didn’t take us very long to decide. I think the only reason I
hadn’t done it sooner was because I just didn’t know how to get
started and had no idea I could be an Open Water Certified Diver in 5 days !!
But of course I couldn’t stop there and the more training I got the
more I wanted.
Kevin didn’t either, he became a Master Scuba Diver and my wife became
a Divemaster. I
went on to become an Instructor and a Tec Rec Deep Diver.
My
